My Girls!

As most of you know our little Grace was born with spina bifida. She has done a remarkable job learning how to walk, in addition to every day tasks. This week we finally received her new walker and she is so excited! Her old walker had fixed front wheels so she'd have to lift it to turn, but this walker has swivel wheels. She was so cute when she first started walking in this because she just kept turning circles and giggling. She loves to tell people that she has a "new walk-oh and it tuwns all by itself!" How cute is that! Now we just have to get her used to keeping it straight when she walks. She has limited function in her left hand so with this walker she tends to vere to the left a little (I think she's putting more pressure on the right side). It reminds me of Ben Stiller's character on "Zoolander" because he is a "uni-turner" and can't turn left. I am so proud of how strong this little girl is and try so hard to be the kind of Mommy she deserves. She is scheduled for a second eye muscle surgery on both eyes on August 1 and I am just sick about it. I just have to keep reminding myself that it is for her benefit.

Alexa has loved having a new baby sister around the house and tries so hard to be a little Mommy. I love this picture of Alexa and Adelle--what cute girls! Alexa thought it would be so fun to put these sunglasses on Adelle so they could match.
Alexa starts kindergarten on August 26...(wiping tears). I am so sad that my little baby is old enough to start school now but she is so excited. We bought her a new little backpack and I've told her aunties to give her school clothes for her birthday this month. She is such a tremendous help with her two younger sisters and I'm really going to miss her during the three looong hours she's gone each day!

Adelle is such the perfect little baby and I feel so blessed to have three beautiful, sweet little girls. She discovered her hands a few weeks ago and loves to keep them in her mouth. If I wasn't her mother and didn't love her so much I'd wonder why her mother never wiped her mouth! She is quite the drool-baby and I just think it is so cute. She loves to talk (Alexa and Grace like to ask me what she says...they think I can understand her!) and coo and most of all, to snuggle. Ahh, my life is good.
